The History of The Old Mill
The Old Mill - Troy was founded in 1988 on the banks of the Missiquoi River in North Troy, Vermont. The original mill was an old lumber mill that was converted into a bulk ingredient recieving and bagging facility. A mixing operation was then installed - leading The Old Mill into the mineral premix world. In 1993 The Old Mill purchased International Stockfood Co. in Waverly, NY. The Old Mill also purchased Keystone Ingredients in PA in 2000, the same year in which the mill in North Troy burned down. In 2002 The Old Mill bought the Agway feed mill in St. Albans, VT and refitted it for premix manufacture. Today, staff work out of the main office in North Troy, our premixes are manufactured and warehoused in St. Albans, and we have a bagging and warehouse facility in Waverly - we also warehouse goods in Lititz, PA and Wooster, OH.
